It has been my great pleasure and often a huge challenge to work with the young people aged 7-16 of Halton on Saturday Morning workshops for the last 5 years. The pleasure is in their constant engagement with new concepts and processes; the challenge is finding new concepts and processes to challenge them with! We have played with print making, photomontage, mask-making, toy making, still-life drawing, sculptural forms, peg-doll making, photo-boxes and so many other things. The range of abilities is often dictated by the age group and numbers who turn up on the day and I have to remain ready to be flexible in the approach and results to expect.
