I make temporary installations which are intended to make viewers think about the ways in which we relate to, and engage with, daily life; with places, spaces and people. The work is concerned with the fleeting characteristics of people and objects, and the ways in which they move and shift across physical, cultural, geographical and imaginary boundaries. The places where things meet, the edges both physical and imaginary are where interesting things can happen. Environmental considerations are also very important to me and I frequently work with reclaimed, recycled and found objects.

Often using domestic objects to create fantastical gallery and non-gallery based installations and interventions, I am very interested in place and identity, memory and knowledge, and in the potential of the project to explore the sublime; a phenomenon sadly lacking in contemporary culture, that sense of wonder, the "oh, gosh" moment  when we encounter something that  momentarily catches us and lifts us out of the everyday.
