Both an intervention and an event it is hoped that the Installation, “The Look of Love” will transform the Summer House at Norton Priory into a bower of lurve, simultaneously kitsch and provocative.

Drawing together Sarah Nicholson’s themes of identity, story telling and working with found objects the installation will involve the public in celebrating and commemorating their experience of the Priory.

Positioned at the end of the laburnum walk, which will be just in bud, the installation existed for just four days over the Valentines Day weekend.

Couples were able to sit within the structure to be photographed, and a range of commemorative Valentine objects were then created from this photograph for the sitters.
